Once in a while you may find that you need some additional details about an individual crash. Perhaps the call stack isn’t enough, and you want to know more!
BugSplat has the ability to load additional data about crashes, including the call stacks for nonactive threads, modules loaded, register values, and additional debugger information.
To get this data for your crash, just click the “Calculate Details” button. Once details are displayed, this extra crash data will stay populated until the end of the day. You’ll also see a new button labeled “Show Debugger Output.” This can be used to generate the debugger output created when analyzing the crash report. One common use for this output is to help understand which symbol files and modules were successfully loaded by the debugger.
